This is achieved with eVent, this stretch windproof and water-resistant fabric prevents cold winds sapping warmth while at the same time its 'Direct Venting' membrane allows almost instantaneous transfer of humidity from inside to outside. Keeping the elements out while letting sweat escape results in stable body temperature at all times. 

With protection taken care of, the fit of the gilet is also key to comfort. The stretch fit ensures none of your energy is wasted battling flapping fabric while the close-fitting collar prevents cool winds getting to your chest.
