Lace Closure System

Giro is convinced that there is no other closure method that's as precise and customisable as a simple lace-up. With seven points of contact, Giro's Empire ACC Road Shoes will fit precisely to your instep. The Empire ACC Road Shoes have sport laces that are designed to stay closed; they can be neatly stored away from your pedals and cranks once tied.

Carbon Fibre Outsole

The Giro Empire ACC's feature Easton's EC90 carbon fibre outsole. Strong and light, this, carbon sole has an ultra-low stack height, which allows every single watt to flow through your pedals. You can replace the Empire ACC's heel pads when they are worn.

Customisable Insole

Giro's SuperNatural Fit System allows you to fully adjust your insole with an arch that has the right amount of support. Simply tear off the arch and replace with the one that suits. The Giro Empire ACC's also feature X-Static fibres; the use natural silver to conduct heat prevents any odour and bacteria build-up.
