Even without them, what these trousers pull off is quite extraordinary: strategically positioned TPR inserts, especially around the thigh and hip areas, do a great job of resisting abrasions and protecting you in the worst-case scenarios. Heavy-duty 600D polyester fabric in the seat area also delivers plenty of durability in what can often become a very well-worn area.

As well as comfort and protection, there’s plenty of comfort in the mix here to make the Techstar Pants an absolute essential for the trail. Stretchy mesh panels on the back of the knee and laser-cut vents allow plenty of ventilation to flow when you need a little cooling, while also wicking sweat efficiently to dry quickly on the surface.
