Efficient Power Output and Superior Traction

The reality is that the power going to your rear wheel will be linear, making traction consistent, in turn making it less likely to lose power or spin your wheel on hard climbs by avoiding the dead spot in your pedal rotation.

Direct Mount Design

Since your front derailleur and chainguide are no longer needed, taking them off your bike will deliver weight savings. Blackspire has taken this a step further by making the new Snaggletooth chainring compatible with the SRAM Direct Mount crank arm system, eliminating the need to use a chainring spider; once again, shaving even more weight.
