The dhb Dorica Carbon Road Shoe takes the popular dhb Dorica Road Shoe, and enhances it with a full carbon 3K weave sole. This is the same as the one used in dhb’s Aeron shoe collection, providing a significant step up in stiffness, but still maintaining a good balance of stiffness to comfort for all day riding.

Laces offer multiple ways to adjust tension across the foot, and for this reason, this style of shoe is a popular choice for all types of cyclists from Sportive riders through to World Tour riders. They allow you to better ‘tailor’ the fit for you.

The traditional ‘oxford style’ opening with seven eyelets gives these shoes lots of flexibility to further help in finding the perfect fit; open or close them depending on your foot shape. The shoe has an elastic lace retainer mid-way down the shoe to keep things secure, tidy, and to ensure they don't get caught up in your chainrings.

Perforated holes on the top of the shoe increase breathability for warmer weather riding. The perforated tongue also helps to increase airflow and shapes over the top of the foot for added comfort when you close the laces. The upper of the shoe is more robust, protecting against contact with the terrain or bike. The upper material is a soft microfibre and will form around the foot as it is not stiff or heavy. The toe-box width has been increased to accommodate a slightly wider forefoot or a thicker pair of socks for those cooler weather rides. The black inner mesh fabric will look crisp no matter what you ride through.
