Launched in 1999, the Aliante quickly became the go-to saddle for professional and recreational riders alike. Despite its success, Fizik didn't intend to rest on the success of the Aliante saddle. This saddle is the widest and most longitudinally waved of Fizik's Spine Concept range and benefits from the input of the pro peloton.

Lightweight and Strong

The Aliante R3 K:ium demands you to perform at your best by offering a saddle which is both flexible and agile.

At 215g, this saddle is made from a composite fiberglass co-injected Nylon shell for support with optimal stiffness-to-weight construction. Twin Flex technology couples a strong, stiff carbon layer with a flexible, comfortable carbon layer atop an alloy K:ium rail. The cumulative effect of this technology is a saddle that is light, durable, and strong.

The Bull

If you have a relatively low degree of spinal flexibility (more than 90 degrees between your straight legs and back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight at shoulders’ width apart), you are a Bull.† Your degree of Spinal flexibility will top out quite quickly when attempting to adopt the performance position.

This means you will rotate you pelvis fully so you are best suited to the increased curvature (support) of the Aliante shape.
