The aluminium centre draws heat built-up away to prevent the dreaded "brake fade" on long descents and it stiffens up the rotor too, for consistent operation as you’re riding at your limit. That’s not all, as TRP has added recessed slots that enable dirt or water build-up to escape quickly, so you can rely on your brakes in all riding conditions.
