If you ride with knee pads you'll be pleased to find the leg openings are generous enough to allow pad use, and for wet and muddy days the rear and inner thighs are splashproof. The shorts are also quick to dry if you do get caught in a shower. To get the right on-the-bike fit Gore add a stretch rear panel and an adjustable waist band that makes the fit easy to adjust and results in a snug, but not restictive, feel. 

In addition their practical too, with zipper pockets on each side providing storage space that's within easy reach, perfect for stowing keys and some cash for a post ride cake and coffee.
