Garmin Vivoactive 3 GPS Smartwatch (Slate)

A smartwatch that allows you to receive smart notifications from your phone, make contactless payments on the go, tracks your activity using GPS with an integrated heart rate monitor and comes preloaded with 15 different sporting activities.

Heart Rate Monitor

Unlike other activity trackers that incorporate heart rate monitors the Vivoactive comes with a heart rate monitor fully integrated into the design of the watch. This saves you the hassle of having to deal with annoying and often uncomfortable chest or arm based heart rate monitoring bands. The Vivoactive has the monitor built into the back of the wrist of the watch so that it can accurately record your heart rate throughout the day. Your heart rate is a vital source of information and can tell you a great deal about your general fitness.

Sport

The Vivoactive is built for the true athlete and comes with 15 different preloaded sports from swimming to golfing. Each sport comes with a different mode which features a different display screen with sport-specific metrics. The modes use GPS to track your movements with no phone connection required.

Whether you’re walking round the office or your competing in a triathlon the Vivoactive is prepared for every occasion. The watch is supper stylish and the band can easily be changed over to with a quick release system. The Vivoactive is also completely waterproof to 5ATM standard which means you can swim and shower while wearing the watch without fear. The Corning Gorilla glass display is super durable and both impact and shatter protected plus the display has been specially designed so that it’s still visible even in direct sunlight.

Connectivity

In syncing the Vivoactive to your smartphone you unlock a huge range of advanced features and abilities. Firstly you can gain access to Garmin connect that your performance data will then automatically upload to. This allows you to keep track of your performance across a range of sports and also keep track of your day-to-day activity. The app can also be used to share your performance with others and allows you to create customisable workouts and upload customised watch faces to your Vivoactive. Once connected you can also receive your phone’s notifications to your watch face allowing you to stay connected while on the go.

Garmin Pay

The first watch to have the new Garmin feature – you can now pay for things using your watch. Streamlining your devices the Vivoactive can be used to make contactless card payments while on the go.
