An ideal platform from which to build up a truly modern “go anywhere” hardtail, the Meta HT AM triple butted alloy frame is ready for any trail and any type of rider. With its slack angles, 160mm travel fork compatibility and huge tyre clearance for up to 27.5x2.8” tyres, it’s ready for any challenge. Other modern touches include internal cable routing, dropper seatpost cable routing, plus moulded chainstay and seatstay protectors as a barrier against chain slap. The Boost type spacing at the rear enables the use of wider hubs and wheels for better stability and power transfer.

On this updated version, the seat tube is lowered, which means it is now possible to install a longer travel seat post. Also, the choice of size is no longer restricted by a seat tube that's too high - this is particularly useful for those who want a longer bike.

Compatible with 650b and 29er Wheels

A semi-rigid frame allows more pedalling efficiency, has a lighter weight and it reduces essential maintenance. Also, the Commencal Meta HT AM Hardtail Frame facilitates both 27.5 and 29-inch wheels. The 27.5” (650b) wheels are recommended for small and medium sized riders or those who prefer increased handling, comfort and grip, 29” wheels are recommended for medium and large sized riders or for those who favour efficiency, precision and performance.
