Ramped zones to the front and rear of the cleat box make for a quick and easy cleat engagement and add extra mud clearance for all-weather performance. An extended cleat track, the 'race zone', lets you get just the right cleat position for bike control and pedal stability too. And with its stiff shank, you'll enjoy excellent power transfer on the more pedal-heavy bits of trail. 

Meanwhile, when you're off the bike and walking up to session a trail feature, the toe and heel lugs provide traction on loose and muddy surfaces and the toe is ramped for improved walkability too. 

Cleat Guidance

These MTB shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard). They come supplied with pre-installed Crankbrothers Match Shim and a pre-installed cleat for Crankbrothers pedals but are compatible with other systems e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
