A great commuter rear light that suits a range of bike frames with multiple light modes, full control via the Cateye Sync app, and automatic sensor control via the Kinectic system.

Cateye Sync

Cateye’s Sync Kinectic rear light comes with full control through the Cateye Sync app (available through Google Play and the App Store). The app provides full control over the bike light and with a couple of taps on your smartphone you can turn the light on, off and change light mode. You can also view your light’s real-time current battery life. This is especially useful when using multiple Cateye sync lights.

OptiCube Lens

The light comes with an OptiCube lens which spreads the beam of the 5 red LEDs providing excellent side visibility which is great for cyclist moving through built-up urban areas.

Light Modes

With 6 different light modes the light comes with various outputs which suits a range of different conditions and your depleting battery life. A specialised Group Ride mode provides an output which will keep you visible but doesn’t distract fellow riders. Meanwhile, the Daytime HyperFlash mode will keep you seen during daylight hours.

High: 40 lumens – 1.5 hours

Low: 5 lumens – 15 hours

Flashing: 30 lumens – 50 hours

Rapid: 50 lumens – 20 hours

Group Ride: 40 lumens – 15 hours

Daytime HyperFlash: 50 lumens – 30 hours

Kinectic Lighting

With a built-in acceleration sensor, the light automatically detects when you’re decelerating and boosts the light’s output to 50 lumens. This helps keep fellow road users aware of your movements – ensuring they know when you’re stopping and preventing accidents.

USB Rechargeable

In-built into the interior of the light is a lithium-ion polymer battery which is USB rechargeable and provided with a Micro-USB cable. You can easily plug the light into any standard USB port for quick and easy charging on the go. The light takes just 2.5 hours to fully recharge and has a battery life of up to 50 hours.

Mounting

The light comes with an integrated seatpost mounting strap which fits both standard and aero bars. The strap provides a quick release option which is excellent for commuters.
