Back System

The Hikelite comes with Osprey’s AirSpeed back panel system. This system uses specialised padding and meshing to cushion your back and shield it from the weight of your gear. Air is also forced into the back system to ensure that your back is fully ventilated which will help you to keep cool and dry when you’re at your most active.

Stabilisation

To ensure that the pack works with your movements and not against them it comes with a fully adjustable harness system. This includes shoulder, sternum straps and a hip belt which can all be easily altered to fit your specific body type so that the rucksack stays in position and doesn’t affect your movements.

Storage

The pack comes with a large selection of different storage options and features that allow you to carry more and also to keep your gear organised for quick and easy packing and unpacking. Some of the convenient storage options featured are: a trekking pole attachment, a hydration sleeve that is compatible with Osprey’s Hydraulics and Hydraulics LT Reservoirs, stretch mesh side pockets for additional water bottles, internal organisers, an interior key clip, zippered panel access, and a specialised zippered, protective sunglasses and electronics pocket.

Protective Design

To protect you and your kit against all the elements that your environment may want to throw at you the Hikelite comes with a durable and protective design. The rucksack comes with a 100D Nylon Mini Diamond Shadow construction which is an extremely robust material that is capable of withstanding impacts, abrasions and is also water resistant. For when conditions become extra wet the pack also comes with an integrated and detachable raincover. An emergency whistle is also attached to the sternum strap for those emergency situations when you need someone’s attention.
