dhb's Aeron Deep Winter Bib Tight gets some new developments for this season, taking the exemplary performance of the previous version and giving it a boost with greater flexibility and warmth thanks to new fabric technology.

Deep Winter: for the Coldest Rides of the Year

While other cyclists may stay well and truly indoors, the dhb Aeron deep Winter Bib Tights will let you venture out when its freezing cold and get your miles in. The tights are designed to provide comfort in temperatures ranging from -2 to 6 Celsius, but they're versatile enough to widen this range with a choice of base layers and outer layers.

Targetted Protection

The dhb team have worked hard to get the right fabrics in the right places to give you a tight that fits beautifully, and keeps in warmth when conditions are tough.

Those areas exposed to the wind and key muscle groups benefit from weatherproof fabrics while around them thermal fleece fabrics provide warmth but also impressive breathability to prevent overheating and clamminess, particularly during your harder efforts and hill climbs. Fleece lined bib straps continue the warmth and comfort up over the shoulders.

The Protection: PU Foam Replaces the Traditional Membrane

dhb have worked with Schoeller® to produce a waterproof fabric that does away with a traditional membrane. The removal of the membrane and use of a PU foam provides the same weatherproof protection but significantly increases both breathability and flexibility - perfect for cycling legwear.

The PU foam is used to provide the tights with just the right amount of windproofing, water-resistance, breathability and stretch. Whereas a laminated fabric construction would completely block wind flow through the fabric, the dhb PU foam bonded fabric blocks the wind but also allows a small amount of air to pass through the fabric. For winter cycling tights intended to be ridden at a higher intensity, this means more breathability and more comfort.

This innovative fabric technology is shared with dhb's new Aeron Rain Defence Bib Tight, but here the Deep Winter tights get a thicker fleece backing for extra warmth on the coldest of road rides.

The new Paris HP is the latest development from Elastic Interface®, the Italian experts whose unparalleled knowledge and experience goes into making the best chamois in cycling.

The Paris HP Pad features ultra-high density foam inserts under the sit bones to ensure a comfortable ride all day long. Rated as good for rides over 7 hours in length, three separate densities of foam have been used to ensure comfort, while also reducing the overall bulk of the pad.
