The excellent versatility comes by the way of its careful mix of fabrics. The front and sleeves of the Velocissimo ROS Jacket are made with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast fabric. This prevents any cold winds getting to your core as you face into the weather, and in combination with the fleecy inner, maintains excellent levels of warmth. At the same time, it's breathable too, letting moisture escape for dry comfort.

Meanwhile, the back of the jacket is made from Nano Flex, Castelli's highly breathable and water-repellent fabric without membrane. In milder temperatures or during more intense efforts this allows excess heat and sweat an easy escape route while maintaining excellent protection from the elements. The entire jacket is, in fact, water repellent, protecting you from road-spray or light rain - ideal for damp and drizzly autumn rides or those short and sharp showers of springtime.

Castelli gives the jacket a close-to-body fit, but you won't feel it's too tight, instead offering space to move. The pockets are spacious, with plenty of space to load up for longer rides, while the details like the YKK zipper and reflectivity are just right.
