The Thermeator Twister socks ability to trap heat is down to their use of hollow core THERMOLITE®. This fibre traps a layer of air against the skin creating a barrier against the cold, and it does this despite being 30% lighter in weight compared to a  similar knit sock constructed of Merino Wool. As well as trapping warmth the sock is very quick to wick sweat away from the foot and being fast drying you'll find your feet less susceptible to the effects of windchill.
