With its In-Mould polycarbonate shell and EPS liner, the Youth Tremor Helmet (MIPS) is a tough and durable lid, meeting the demands of the most aggressive young trail-shredding mountain biker. Impact protection comes by the way of the EPS core, absorbing crash forces in order to protect the head. This is directly moulded to the shell, making the Tremor both strong and tough, fending off those regular bumps and bangs of mountain biking. This is then paired with the brain-protecting MIPS system.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)

The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.

Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
