The Antares R1 is ideal for cyclists with medium spine flexibility. The Antares shape is purposely made wider than the Arione range and includes a slightly curved profile which is more forgiving.

Lightweight and Strong

This Antares R1 features improved weight distribution and a host of Fizik technologies like the carbon double shell and Braided Carbon Rail for the optimum blend of strength and support. The Wing Flex permits flexibility where your thighs meet the saddle.

Tipping the scales at 160g, this saddle allows you to remain agile whilst maintaining comfort.

The Chameleon

If you have an intermediate degree of spinal flexibility (approximately 90 degrees between your straight legs and your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight at shoulders’ width apart), you are a chameleon.† Your degree of spinal flexibility helps you up to a point before you need to rotate your pelvis slightly to achieve fully the performance position. Fizik understands that not everyone has the same level of flexibility so they cater for everyone.
