Central to the Dropframe Pro MTB Helmet's performance is the integration of 3 advanced protection technologies, Varizorb EPS, MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) and M.O.RE. The Varizorb EPS foam liner is the first line of defence against head injury. This absorbs the impact forces of a knock to the head and spreads those forces widely to lessen their effect on your head. Next comes the MIPS technology. This tech reduces the rotational forces acting on the head and thus guards against brain injury, should you hit the dirt hard. Lastly, the M.O.RE. design provides extended coverage of your ears, jaw, and back of the head so no matter which way you fall, you're fully covered.

Cool and Comfortable

The Dropframe isn't just protective though, it's cool and comfortable too. Fox have given it 8 Big Bore vents and 7 exhaust vents, turbo-boost cooling airflow over your head. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) 

The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.

Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
