Lightweight and with a female-specific fit, with a narrower heel and slimmer toe box, the Gaerne Women's Carbon Tornado SPD-SL Road Cycling Shoes are ideally suited to both long days in the saddle or for intense racing efforts.

The Women's Carbon Tornado SPD-SL Road Cycling Shoes are made with a soft microfibre upper and 'Comfort-Fit' tongue, both moulding to the foot for perfect comfort. With copious amounts of ventilation holes, your feet will also feel fresh even after a hot summer ride.

This excellent airflow is also complemented by the anatomically shaped 'Transpiration Insole'. It supports the foot during pedalling while micro-perforations let air circulate easily. The integrated heel-cup features both an anti-slip grip and an anti-tendonitis shape for exceptional foothold and comfort as you apply the power.

BOA L6 Dial Adjustment

When it comes to getting a secure and comfortable fit, you can't beat the lightweight BOA L6 dial system. Thanks to even pressure over the whole foot, it allows for a snug and precise fit, perfectly matching the snug fit of the upper and allows for greater air circulation across the front of the foot.

EPS Carbon Power Sole 10.0

The EPS Carbon Power Sole 10.0 uses Carbon to give you rapid power transfer. Rated at 10 out of 12 for pedalling stiffness and yet ultra-thin, the sole allows your foot to sit closer to the pedal for a natural pedal stroke and excellent power-transfer with minimal loss of energy. 

Foot stability is also optimised thanks to specific support in the plantar arch area, providing an unrivalled pedalling platform for smooth power delivery to the pedals. Five air vents turbo-charge the airflow to your foot while an anti-slip toe and interchangeable rear pad make walking more safe and secure.

These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
