This Shimano R9100/R8000 specific version of CeramicSpeed’s OSPW system features the same construction as the standard model, but it’s been enhanced to make the most of your power output even further and the increased watt outputs start at 2.4 watts. The ceramic bearings in this model have been coated with a special treatment to further reduce friction and increase protection from wear and tear. A thin coating is also applied to the bearing races, to increase corrosion resistance.

Shimano Specific Pulley Wheels

Because of the design of the 9100 series derailleurs, the R&D team at CeramicSpeed tested and concluded that the best performing combination of oversized pulleys for the Shimano 9100 series is a 13-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley. The design of this Shimano-specific OSPW System is very strong and stiff to ensure a high durability factor. In-house tests show that the higher the tooth count, the longer the pulley wheel lasts.

Designed to be a plug-and-play fit, it's the result of an in-depth development process and has been finely tuned to provide optimal performance. Maintenance:

It’s important that you properly lubricate your bearings to ensure optimal performance and maximum longevity. Add oil to the outside of the bearing seal, so that oil can penetrate the bearing. Do this when you lubricate your chain, or if you have washed your bike or have been riding in wet or muddy conditions.
