When Fizik was creating the Luce R1 saddle, they constructed an all-new design in order to produce a women's saddle that offers outstanding performance and comfort over long distances.

Advanced Shell

The shell of the Luce R1 combines three different sections, consisting of a central nylon spine that’s reinforced with carbon fibre and two thermoplastic elastomers. This ensures the Luce R1 provides the ideal mix of low weight, strength and flexibility.

Central Cut-out

Another great feature of the shell is that it has a long central cut-out. Fizik calls this its IschialFlex technology, as it provides flexible support for the sit bone area. It also reduces pressure on sensitive areas so you can enjoy consistent comfort even on the longest rides.

Carbon Fibre Rails

In addition to the highly-advanced shell, this saddle features a narrow carbon Mobius rail construction. These rails don't just reduce the overall weight, they maximise power transfer and dampen vibrations from the road.

Spine Concept Evo

This saddle is available in two different sizes. Within Fizik’s Spine Concept Evo saddle fitment guide, the width of Fizik’s “Regular” saddles are best for women with relatively high power output to bodyweight ratios. Fizik’s “Large” saddles are best for women with low power output to bodyweight ratios.
