Alpinestars use stretch side panels to give the vest a great fit too, it's perfect worn over a winter jersey or used under a rain jacket as an extra layer when it's cold and wet. An elongated back protects from mud spray while the large zippered compartment on the back provides space to stow valuables such as car and house keys and smartphone.
