To keep your feet cosy and warm, the Celsius XC Arctic GTX Mountain Bike Shoes use an insulating Koala Gore-Tex® membrane. With its windproof properties and lightly fleeced inner face, this will keep your feet warm even when the mercury shows temperatures creeping well below freezing point. And not only is it warm, but it's also waterproof too, fending off wet roads and sudden downpours. 

Wet weather protection is enhanced further by the flexible Easyfit Climaflex collar. This features a Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane to prevent water seeping inside but still allows for smooth unrestricted pedalling. Lastly, the four-layer aluminium and fleece construction of the Arctic 4layer insole provides outstanding insulation, complementing the Koala membrane perfectly. 

Jaws Carbon-Reinforced Sole

Riding off-road needs a sole that delivers good pedalling efficiency and support but at the same time some flex to soak up the bumps. And this is exactly what you get with the Jaws Carbon-Reinforced Sole. Rated by Northwave at 8 out of 15 for stiffness, it will propel you forward as soon as you apply power but won't leave your feet buzzing with pins and needles across rough trails. The rubber grip provides traction off the bike and studs can be added for added grip on the muddiest of trails. 

SLW2 closure system

Keeping the fit snug and comfortable, the SLW2 closure system allows you to dial in the fit just how you like it. The micro-adjust dial gives precise control of the fit but then at the end of a ride, a single button release makes it easy to kick off your shoes. Quick. Simple, Durable. Precise. And in conjunction with the Overlap design of the upper, a great fit without pressure points is made possible. 

Cleat Guidance

These MTB shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
