Completely redesigned from the ground up, these Nukeproof V2 wheels give riders incredibly fast and smooth rolling performance on every ride. The rear hub features 36 points of engagement and comes with a Shimano HG freehub. Nukeproof has also made freehubs available separately and easy to change if you choose to upgrade your drivetrain in the future. These are a pair of non-boost wheels with 15mm front hub and 142mm rear. The hubs can also be converted to QR if required using end caps sold separately.

The 6066 alloy rim has been extensively to ensure it is a rim which is light enough for aggressive trail riding but strong enough for DH.

Nukeproof have used J-Bend spokes meaning tensioning and spoke replacement is much simpler than using a straight pull spoke.

The wheels come taped with tubeless valve installed so all you need to do is add sealant and your tyre to get a finished tubeless setup. The valve supplied is Nukeproofs Horizon valve which also has a core remover built into the cap.

A pair of ARD inserts are also supplied to give you maximum protection.

By using closed cell foam technology, the A.R.D is a very lightweight tyre insert, yet it offers you lots of protection. It enables you to run your tyres at much lower pressures without risking flats, plus gives you much increased grip for thrashing around the trails. In fact, it's so good that Kelan Grant, a CRC-Mavic sponsored rider was able to complete a stage of the EWS on just his A.R.D as his tyre had split.
