The softshell construction utilises a windproof and breathable membrane to keep cold out and warmth in, while a thermal grid fleece backing provides lightweight and cosy warmth. The jacket also has a DWR finish to keep rain showers and drizzle at bay. To fully seal the jacket dhb have used a YKK Aquaguard™ front zipper, while the adjustable hood gives added protection if the weather really takes a turn for the worse.

Careful consideration has been given to the tailoring of the jacket to give the very best functionality on the bike but also looking good off the bike. The fit is loose but not so loose that it gets in the way or catches too much wind as you ride, the slight stretch of the fabric also giving excellent freedom of movement. A slightly dropped hem protects from muddy wheel spray and can be adjusted to fit as you like it. 

Two spacious pockets, that sit above hydration pack hip belts, give space for extra kit that's easily within reach and they have glove-friendly pullers for easy operation even in the cold. The linings are meshed so can be used as extra venting when you're really working up a sweat. With the final touch of reflective details, you'll also be safer riding in low light conditions.
