Lifeline's A-Type Shimano XTR and XT compatible brake pads provide excellent stopping power and their design shields the brake caliper from heat build-up, ensuring fade free performance on long descents. They're available in two compound types; Organic for urban, Cross Country and short Downhill courses, and Sintered for longer distance Enduro, All Mountain, and Cyclocross use.

Strong Braking Power

The Organic compound provides a strong initial bite and a reduced bedding in period, making it suitable for riding where generally lighter force is needed, or for one-time race use on Downhill riding.

Fade-Free Braking Performance

The Sintered compound may not provide the same initial bite and need some time to warm up to work at their best, but it performs better in wet weather conditions as the metal compound is not affected by mud and water. It’s also much more durable and provides longer fade-free performance on long descents, making them ideal for longer distance riding.
