Advanced Protection

The unique shape provides greater coverage by extending over the back of the head and wrapping the temples, and high quality EPS foam is strategically thicker in the most exposed areas. Despite this extra coverage, this helmet still maintains an incredibly low weight.

Strong construction

The Octal Raceday features a fully wrapping unibody shell construction. This functions as a monocoque which enhances the safety properties and integrity of the helmet. An outer PC shell also covers it, which improves safety performance even further.

Innovative Ventilation

Due to the thick EPS foam that cradles all around your head, rather than lots of small vent holes, POC has been able to use fewer, larger vent holes. These larger vents allow air to easily pass from front to back, helping keep you cool on even the hottest days. The vents also allow incredible airflow and aerodynamic benefits, as tested in POC's own WATTS lab.
