The latest Dominer Downhill Bike is built on the foundation of Vitus’ highly successful Sommet enduro model, but with added suspension travel, downhill specific tubeset construction and race-ready geometry. It features an updated main suspension linkage system for modern metric rear shock designs and to significantly enhance suspension performance.

RockShox Suspension, Shimano Zee DH Drivetrain

This DH rig rides high upon RockShox BoXXer triple clamp downhill forks and a RockShox Super Deluxe Coil shock, which provide 200mm of trail smoothing travel front and rear. It features a Shimano Zee DH 1x10 drivetrain at its core, so it gathers speed rapidly and maintains momentum while shifting with immense precision.

Technologies:

• Anti-Squat Main Pivot: This frame design features a main pivot, which is in a forward position for advanced performance. This design provides natural anti squat/bob when pedalling with the most commonly used 36T chainring setup and does not require excessive chain tension and eliminates the possibility of related pedal feedback.
• Chainstay Pivot Location: The chainstay pivot is designed in-line with the chainstay to eliminate any force directed towards the shock linkage. This pivot location significantly reduces shock compression and pedal bob, which is due to chain tension when putting the power down. Also, it maximises active suspension performance when using the rear brake and functions to the same level of responsiveness as a floating brake design, without the added weight.
• Refined Rear Axle Path: In addition, the main pivot location boosting anti-squat performance, the Dominer's 70mm of reward axle path travel maintains momentum over square edged hits and increases stability over demanding terrain.
• New Linkage Design: Vitus has implemented a new linkage design with a super deluxe metric shock to provide a progressive suspension rate. This unique suspension kinematic delivers a super supple stroke-beginning for maximum grip, a supportive mid stroke for confidence-inspiring stability and is ready to take big hits while maintaining exceptional control.

Easy Assembly

When you order a bike, one of our trained mechanics will carefully prepare and pack your bike for shipping. Upon delivery, the assembly is simple and all necessary tools are conveniently included in the box.

Depending on the delivery service and destination, bikes will either be delivered in a large or a small box. Below is a guide as to how your bike will arrive:

• All bikes for delivery within the UK and Republic of Ireland will be delivered in a large box, except for kids’ bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for delivery within the EU on a standard service will be delivered in a large box. If an express delivery option is chosen, your bike will be packed into a small box. Again, the exception is kids’ bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for worldwide delivery outside the EU will be delivered in small boxes.
